[Geoserver-users] updating datastore not working?

Hi list,

we've have some trouble using 1.6.1-beta to change Oracle datastore
properties (changing from one database to the other).

After hitting Apply we get:

DataStore gazetteer is not defined!

If we change the settings in the war before deploying all is fine.

Is this an issue with the admin interface?

Best regards,
Bart

Hi Bart,

So you have a datastore called "gazateer", and you are changing the connection parameters to a different database? It should work... does it work if instead of changing the parameters you just add a new one? If not perhaps its an issue connecting to the actual db and this message is misleading us.

Hi Justin,

I haven't tried removing and creating it. I'll give that a try.

It's not the DB, since if I change the XML file directly and redeploy the war file it works fine.

Best regards,
Bart
