[Geoserver-users] WMS and image fomats supported

Hi,

I’m new to Geoserver. I’ve just installed the release 1.2.2. When I ask the WMS capabilities, the only format supported is image/svg+xml. How do I configure Geoserver to have JPEG and GIF as WMS output fomat.

Hi
Have you installed the java advanced image library (jai) and
the java advanced image libary io jars? You get then on
java.sun.com
Think it's mentioned somewhere how to install this two
libraries
