Ho risolto, ho trovato la soluzione al seguente link:

In pratica la soluzione è :
More research, and found out the problem was with Compiz-fusion.
Edit the file /etc/environment with root permisions and add this line:
AWT_TOOLKIT=“MToolkit”
Dopo questa aggiunta funziona tutto alla perfezione.
