Hi all,
I have an ascii file with 4 fields: x y z w. I want to interpolate these points in order to obtain a 3d map. To do this I first create a vector map using v.in.ascii command, then I use v.vol.rst to create the 3d map, but when I run the command this error appears:
ERROR: Unable to get layer info for vector map
What doest it mean? can anybody help me suggessting me other possible solutions? Thank you very much

Scusate, per l'abitudine ho scritto la mia email in inglese... la riformulo in italiano.
Ho un file ascii contenente 4 campi: x y z w. vorrei interpolare questi punti in modo tale da ottenere una mappa 3d. per fare questo ho importato prima il file ascii in vettoriale con il comando v.in.ascii e poi per interpolare ho usato il comando v.vol.rst ma quando lancio il comando compare il seguente errore:
ERROR: Unable to get layer info for vector map
Cosa significa? Qualcuno può aiutarmi suggerendomi altre soluzioni? Grazie a tutti
