GN4 - Metadata 101 tests

Hi guys, as discussed during GN5 meeting. I would like to organise a meeting next week: 13th August 15h UTC (same slot as GN5) to present our testing solution for metadata 101. We have planed to use JITSI (but some admin will need to confirm attendance as I do not have permission to start the meet.
Key aspects:

  1. we use war overlay
  2. we develop new swiss schema in metadata 101
  3. we use use a patched version of core-geonetwork (because we haven’t had time to create and finalise all the PRs for our fixes, and it turns out we find regular problems with a sweet spot around sub-templates).

Please let me know if the proposed date makes sens and if you will be able to attend.

Recommend http://meet.osgeo.org/ (then you can use your osgeo user id to be admin).

The meeting time works for me. I am curious if you use test containers, or run as a distinct maven integration test. All questions you can answer next week.

  1. I tried both options and it on the meet osgeo, but it does not give me the possibility to use my osgeo id. Since we had agreed to use th usual Jitsi ( I hope one admin can log us all in, otherwise I’ll try to create a completely different meeting id).
  2. No test containers
  3. No integration tests.
    Instead: A really fast testing solution :wink:

Hi Sebastien,

I don’t know if the meeting is confirmed for today, but I won’t be able to make it. JITSI considers the first person to enter an empty meeting to be the administrator.
