Here is some information placed on the list several months ago. As far as
I know the information is accurate and should apply for the Novajet also;
at least the software conversion packages. SCS has 5 sites with the
Novajet II, but only one has looked at the software conversion packages.
They have not given us any information on their results.Good Luck,

IMAGE ALCHEMY, according to the HP chart, can convert these file types
to HP RTL:CALS-CCITT G4 Type 1
GIF
SGI Raster Files
Sun Raster Files
Targa
TIFF Packbits
I believe Image Alchemy actually supports a broader range of formats. (I
have the literature, not the product.) I don't think that it's very expensive,
prarticularly if you don't need PostScript.
Alternatively, HP sell a manual for HP RTL, I believe.
