just open any module GUI, running the module works,
e.g.
g.copy vector=firestations@PERMANENT,myfire
Copy vector <firestations@PERMANENT> to current mapset as <myfire>
(Sat Jan 21 14:07:48 2017) Command finished (0 sec)
=> but when trying to close the module's GUI:
Traceback (most recent call last):

NameError
:
