Hi all,

I just installed Python 2.51 for Windows, and I noticed that it contains
Tcl/Tk... Is it all we need for GRASS or do I need to install also
Activestate Tcl?

Thanks

Marco

Python has long use TkInter as a default GUI scripting platform. This is why it comes with TclTk. We are using wxPython. With the new GUI, TclTk is no longer necessary EXCEPT for NVIZ. NVIZ functionality still needs to be ported to wxPython.

Hi Michael,

thanks for info
