Hi all.
Sorry I missed most of the discussion: are there plans to make a clickable installer for the Win version?
All the best.

I would have the same question.
I have put software, sample data and installation info (+beginners
manuals) into one big zip file here:
http://rslultra.star.ait.ac.th/~yann/star/GMS_CDROM.zip
But nobody will take the pain of GRASS GIS windows installation the
way it is now (i am speaking about regular ArcXxxx users...). However,
QGIS0.8pre2 with GRASS plugin is a copy and paste story (take
qgis_dir/ , copy, paste in your desktop, et voila!), that they will
survive.
Question: can we have a copy/paste solution for GRASS GIS Windows like
the QGIS 0.8 Pre2?
thanks,
Yann

Some Google Working rules:
* Developers can switch teams and/or projects any time they want, no
questions asked; just say the word and the movers will show up the
next day to put you in your new office with your new team.
* There aren't very many meetings. I'd say an average developer
attends perhaps 3 meetings a week.
* Google has a philosophy of not ever telling developers what to work
on, and they take it pretty seriously.
* Google tends not to pre-announce. They really do understand that you
can't rush good cooking, you can't rush babies out, and you can't rush
software development.
