I am at 147.32.1.2 (IBM 3090) or 191.108.131.11 (Sun) and trying to touch Grass
ftp via moon.cecer.army.mil .
The anonymous login is going fine , but when I want to list a directory
I am getting the foll. message
425 Can't build data connection ; Interrupted system service
change dir - is going fine
Any comments aprreciated

Peter, it seems to be the CS network... I tried "to finger" you at both
machines via Internet connection, but
- 191... is refusing (that's clear so far it is the ibm monster)
- 147... is unreachable (the same I get from UNIBA too), call the cs-relay folk
at UNIBA.
You can proof your connectivity to get onto our vax-cluster with
telnet 141.30.4.1, login
as 'gast', give 'your name' to be sure if your connections are working well.
And a last hint, try it at weekend when the lines are NOT so overloaded!
