Grass reference

I have received the following message regarding my question
on a Grass reference to be included in a paper I'm writing:

We used:

Hinthorne, J., Satnik, D., Vali, A. and Kleeman, T. 1991. Image

processing

in the Grass GIS. In Proc. IGARSS '91 Symp. Espoo, Finland. 3-6

June 1991

Vol IV:2227-2229.

This includes no other references.

MAJOR@ABRSLE.AGR.CA

Is this good enough? I don't want to miss any previous paper or no to
include any relevant author.

Thanks
Agus

why not refer to the GRASS Reference Manual?

E.g., some of the folks that review my writing may want to know
the nuts-n-bolts of how I did something. So, I just reference
a key command that was used:

@Manual{ v.autocorr,
  title = "v.autocorr: software for hypothesis testing of
                  presence of spatial autocorrelation. {GRASS}
                  4.1 Reference Manual",
  author = "James Darrell McCauley",
  organization = "U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Construction
                  Engineering Research Laboratories",
  address = "Champaign, Illinois",
  year = "1993"
}
