Hello all.
Is it possible in Grass to include the elevation color ramp in the Legend of raster grid? I would also like the opportunity to create and/or augment a color ramp and partition by elevation within the Legend? Finally...when you overlay vector files on top of raster grids and they are in two different projections is it necessary to put the all in the same projection prior to display or are there ways to reproject within a Project?
Thank you in advance.

In the GUI Map Display window, there’s a button at the top to add map elements. One of them is a legend. That might be what you want.

Yes, it is necessary to put all layers into the same projection/LOCATION. GRASS does not do on-the-fly reprojection. You have to project the vector using v.proj from the other LOCATION into the same LOCATION as the raster.
