[GRASS-user] converting LAT/LON shape file to X/Y shape file

Hello users,

I would like to know if there is a way to convert a shapefile defined with Lat/Lon

into a shapefile defined with X and Y.

I am able to import and display the shape files with File/import Vector / OCR.
