[GRASS-user] How to open tiff images

hello,

Please help me to open tiff images i m using grass6.1 in windows
this is not supporting r.in.tiff when i m opening tif file by r.in.gdal there is only
a grey image.

Probably it is just the color settings.

try

g.region rast=yourmap
r.info yourmap
r.univar yourmap
d.histogram yourmap

Is there data in there? Maybe it is just the color settings need to be
reset with r.colors.
