Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii"Hello,
I'm new to grass and gis in general and for a start I need it for a specific
purpose. I want to create simple thematic maps. Values assigned to counties
should be used to create chloropleth and proportional symbols maps. Is there a
way to do this in grass? Thanks,Chris
In GRASS, use d.vect.thematic (or pick the thematic maps button from the GIS Manager toolbar).
OTOH, QGIS will make vector thematic maps from GRASS vector files easily.
