Hi,

for a few days the GRASS Wiki under Denial of Service attack by a botnet, trying to crash the entire Wiki service).

I have implemented today some countermeasures on the server, hoping that it becomes faster again.

Hi Markus,

Maybe this Apache web server mod_evasive module will be useful for solving DDoS attack.

Thanks, I have implemented for now a fail2bansolution which appears to do the job

|- Total banned: 9251

The Wiki seems to be back :slight_smile:
