v.to.points puts "along" in table, but it's not documented.
So diligent in writing code but it's all a waste if you don't say
mention it outside main.c.

Everyone should feel free to write anything that they feel is missing
and submit it here. Harder to lose than your personal notebook of GIS
tricks.

I think as a general rule coders tend to feel the most efficient use of
their time is to spend it coding and leave the documentation to the
masses of non-coders to do. Of course the non-coders must understand it
before they can write..... Both sides are important.
