[GRASS5] [bug #3117] (grass) r.out.pov fails when called out of d.m

Subject: r.out.pov fails when called out of d.m

Platform: GNU/Linux/i386
grass obtained from: CVS
grass binary for platform: Compiled from Sources
GRASS Version: GRASS 6.1.cvs (2005)

r.out.pov map=alt_surf4 tga=/gd/test.tga hftype=1 causes the attached error
message.

When called from the command line, the file becomes written.

too many nested evaluations (infinite loop?)

This bug looks exactly like http://intevation.de/rt/webrt?serial_num=2937
where v.in.ogr fails in GUI mode.
