Great work. I will reflect your work to my Fink packages (gdal,
grass60, gdal-grass and so on). For anyone interested in Fink version,
my ongoing files are available at
http://homepage.mac.com/babayoshihiko/fink/gis-finkinfo.tar.gz .

By the way, does gdal work with large file support on your side?

Note that there is an updated plugin out... 1.3.1.1...

Yes, I think so. But I didn't try recently.
