Dear users
I am doing a research and justifying GRASS as a GIS on the basis of a few essential GIS functions and tools.
Can someone clarify how is data ---retrieved--- in GRASS ?
Retrieval according to the dictionary means "The process of accessing information from memory or other storage devices."
Is it by any chance related to data import and export ?
I think not but thought would just clarify. If it is related to time, then are there any research or figures available ?
