hi everyone!
I have installed gdal-1.3.1 and it got installed
without errors.but when i run gdalinfo --version it
gives wrong version i.e instead of giving 1.3.1 it
gives 1.2.3.
Please help !

Mine works fine on both linux & mac osx ....maybe you
have the old version lurking somewhere in the search
path???
