[GRASSLIST:1179] Re :Re: [GRASS-user] grass on handhelp devices

Thanks markus for replying,
I went through webpage and screenshots are impressive and what also impressing was such work had already been carried around 2002.
But i couldn’t find source in download secttion of grass nor it is anywhere on webpage http://grass.itc.it/platforms/grasshandheld.html. Probably link has been moved.
Is anyone aware of new location. Also is it mandatory that i can download code from cvs only.

regrads & cheers

greetings grassusers
I am looking for some light weight gis for palm devices. It has got a
arm processor and memory of 128 MB. Is there any version of grass
availbale for such devices or anybody has worked on such application.
Any help will be helpful.

we have done some work on this in the past:
http://grass.itc.it/platforms/grasshandheld.html

AFAIK the DebianGIS project is/was packaging for ARM processors as well.

I have found this:

http://buildd.debian.org/build.php?&pkg=grass&ver=6.0.0-1&arch=arm&file=log
and
http://packages.debian.org/cgi-bin/search_packages.pl?searchon=names&version=all&exact=1&keywords=grass

where ARM is mentioned.
