[GRASSLIST:1857] d.vect mess

Hi folks,
I've compiled GRASS under an old version of HPUX, and raster and
site drawing look fine. But d.vect is drawing from the edge of the region
to the expected vector points (it looks like d.vect is tracing in the
correct points, but it keeps racing back to the edge between points, which
makes for a very messy image!). Does this sound familiar to anyone? Any
hints?
Thanks,
Andy

Because of a slow connection I picked up a copy of Jeshuas GRASS for Mac OS X based on the beta release 11. I installed it and when I first run

grass5 ~/grass/rjoe/PERMANENT

or even just

grass5

I get the error

zsh: exec format error: /Users/Shared/GRASS5/grass5b11/etc/Init.sh

And sure enough, the Init.sh is not present in that directory. Does anyone have a copy of this file for release 11 they could send to me, or is this file specific to Jesuas build on the OS X platform?

Best,

this file (script) should be identical for all platforms. So
you may grab it from the CVS_web interface or another binary (do
you have beta11 Linux?).

All other questions Jeshua may answer.
