Iam a geologist, and I have used ESRI Shape file
import.
1. I have taken care to keep only one key attribute in
the ESRI shape file.
2. v.in.ogr -o
is needed for regions.
3. Set REGION to this vector.
4. Displat and query this vector.
Structural symbols:
They must be site (point) data with information of
orientation, etc in azimuth in the attached data.
Symbol Library:
This Iam yet to use.
