[GRASSLIST:6182] pb with topology of adjacent areas

dear Grass users,

We have some trouble with topology on vector files imported from ARC/INFO
polygones with v.in.arc (.ply, .pnt and .txt files).

It seems that for some adjacent areas, one of these areas (A) is "included"
in the other (B). Consequently, the surface of A (SA) is correct but the
surface of B is underestimated ( = SB -SA).

We suspect that it is related to the fact that the first node of A is one one
the B nodes.

Thanks.

Didier

That is correct. If (A) is isle in (B), area size of (B) must be SB - SA,
i.e. without isle.
