[GRASSLIST:6199] possible topic for the newsletter

Hi-

I have just about completed a framework for using GRASS in conjunction with
GMT to produce field material for mapping the soils in some rugged parts of
California. If there are interested parties, I would be happy to write it up
for an article in the GRASS newsletter.

Alternatively, I would be happy to write a similar article on the integration
of GRASS and GMT.

Anyone interested?

The topic that you suggested sounds like a good way to talk about something GRASS-specific, with the soils mapping as a context... great idea!

I will try and get the article ready by the next edition of the newsletter. Any ideas on when that might be Martin?

great!

what do you think about the idea of doing an article on the integration
of GRASS and GMT using 'mapping the soils in some rugged parts of
California' as a practical example?

well, the next vol. will be released when enough articles have been
submitted ..... looking forward to the soil-mapping / GRASS-GMT article.
cheers Martin
