GS3 Milestone 1 Updates

Last week:

• GeoServer 2025 Q2 Developer Update blog post published, talking about GeoServer 3 starting up!

  High level what is going on what are we working on, progress etc…

This week:

1. Setting up people to work on GeoServer 3

   • Adding Pierre Mauduit (camptocamp | France) to geoserver-wiki group
   • Adding Cécile Vuilleumier (camptocamp | Switzerland) to geoserver-wiki group (aside: Cécile has also been volunteering with geoserver-security group)

2. Gabe is staring to look at Project Bill of Materials (update how we manage dependencies across projects) and Java 17 (a bunch of dependency changes to manage with afore mentioned bill-of-materials).

3. Planning ImageN ahead of “online code spring” sprint next week

Hi all
Thanks Jody for starting the thread - taking this opportunity to introduce myself, since I never have here.
I’m Cécile or @vuilleumierc on GitHub, working at camptocamp, and working with GeoServer since a couple of years.
I’m planned to work on GS3 and just started looking at the migration of the OAuth community modules.
Looking forward to collaborating with the GeoServer team and contributing to GS3
