GSoC-2025 Introduction: Aryan Khare

Hi, everyone!

I’m Aryan Khare, a postgraduate student at IIT Bombay, India, mastering in Geoinformatics and Natural Resources.

I’m glad to be joining the ZOO-Project community as a GSoC 2025 contributor. This summer, I’ll be working on Migrating and updating the existing CWL runners as part of Google Summer of Code (GSoC) 2025 which includes using abstract classes to reduce code duplication, enhancing the entry point logic, and ensuring compatibility with ZOO-Kernel and CWL standards.

During the community bonding period, I have completed the following tasks:

  • Created my OSGeo Profile. [1]
  • Added wiki link and student repository on OSGeo’s accepted student’s wiki page. [2]
  • Read Google’s GSoC student guide and OSGeo’s specific instructions.

I’m looking forward to learning more, collaborating with the community, and making meaningful contributions over the coming months. Excited to get started!

Best Regards,
Aryan Khare
