Progress Report for Week 11 (Aug 11 – Aug 17)

  • Added new functionality to geo/converters.py for enhanced geospatial data conversion.
  • Created geo/converters_test.py with unit tests to ensure reliability of the new converter logic.
  • Improved handling of geospatial formats and edge cases in the converter.
  • Validated the new converter with both sample and real geospatial datasets, confirming correct output.

2. Plan for Next Week :

  • Support different conversion types, including [geo] for GeoCroissant.
  • Implement comprehensive test cases for conversions.
  • Add support for Zarr conversions and the SpaceWeather SDO-ML dataset.

3. Am I blocked on anything?

  • No, I am not currently blocked on anything.
