GSoC 2025 : Week 9 Report | Implementation of Bandwidth Algorithm to pgRouting

Hello everyone,

I would like to provide an update on the work completed during the ninth week of my GSoC 2025 coding period.

Original Plan (from Proposal):

  • Create advanced usage examples
  • Test with real-world road network data
  • Add performance benchmarks
  • Update documentation with performance notes

Revised Plan:

  • Started the documentation of the algorithm

What I got done:

  • Updated bandwidth.pg & bandwidth.result to pass the check queries.
  • Added doc/metrics/pgr_bandwidth.rst
  • Updated doc/metrics/CMakeLists.txt to add pgr_bandwidth
  • Updated doc/_static/page_history.js to include the new page with history for bandwidth
  • Updated the code as the mentors reviewed.
  • Coordinated with mentors for reviews.
  • Attended weekly meet which was held on 28th of July 2025
