I’m Mohit Rawat, a CS student interested in contributing to GRASS GIS for GSoC 2026.
I’ve been exploring the OSGeo ecosystem recently, starting with pgRouting where I got familiar with the project structure and made some small fixes. I’m interested in GRASS to understand the broader geospatial stack beyond routing.
I have experience with C and Python. I’ve been reviewing the GSoC ideas, and I’m particularly interested in C-based projects that focus on core module improvements and interoperability.
I’ve cloned the codebase and am currently exploring it. If there are any good first issues you’d recommend, let me know.
