I am a software developer with experience in .NET, Angular, Python, Node.js and PostgreSQL. I am applying to GSoC 2026 under OSGeo and have submitted a proposal for a Sustainability-Weighted Multi-Criteria Routing Engine for pgRouting.
What do you want to learn / contribute
I want to extend pgRouting with environmental cost factors — carbon emissions, AQI exposure, and elevation energy cost — to enable green routing for urban planners and logistics operators. I have prototyped the core scoring logic and am eager to contribute to the pgRouting codebase.
