GSoC 2026 : Week-6 Report (July 7th - July 13th)

This week I opened 2 PRs :

  1. feat(auth): application-layer auth foundation
  2. feat(audit) :Audit Log ledger and STAC Service Account
  • Updated Auth: Moved from a strict database-level login to a standard application-level system. It makes handling user access much more straightforward.
  • Audit Logging: Set up an append-only database table to track data access requests. It’s a basic but necessary foundation for handling permissions properly.
