GSoC’27 Introduction : Ayush Kumar

Hello pgRouting Community,

My name is Ayush Kumar, and I am a B.Tech CSE student interested in C++, SQL, PostgreSQL, Java and graph algorithms.

I am highly motivated to contribute to pgRouting, particularly in exploring the Boost Graph Library and its applications in routing. I’m interested in understanding the pgRouting codebase and contributing to graph-related algorithms and features.

As I prepare for GSoC 2027, I’m eager to collaborate with the community and contribute to the project…

Any suggestions on where I should start would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you!

Best regards,
Ayush Kumar

You are welcome to the community, Ayush.

pgRouting is not yet preparing for GSoC 2027 so the guidelines and requirements are not out yet. For now, you can go through the pgRouting workshop and do the exercises so you can get a good feel for what pgRouting is all about.

You can also try to fix typos and other documentation issues you might find along the way, explore the codebase and look for issues you can work on.

Thank you for your reply fro now I will go through the pgrouting workshop and understand the codebase of the and also look for the issue in which i can work on…
