Hi everyone 
I’m Rahul Bansal, a third-year B.Tech student at IIITM Gwalior. I’m excited to share that I’ve been selected as a GSoC 2025 contributor with OSGeo, working on the istSOS project.
My project focuses on building a Setup Configuration Wizard for istSOS, aimed at simplifying the setup and deployment process for new users.
What I’ve done so far:
- Created my OSGeo profile: User:Rahull004 - OSGeo
- Set up the GitHub repository for my project under istSOS
- Reviewed the GSoC Contributor Guide and OSGeo’s contributor instructions
- Started exploring the istSOS codebase and setup flow
I’m really looking forward to contributing meaningfully to the community, learning from amazing mentors, and building something impactful. Super excited for what lies ahead!
