As part of our ongoing commitment to enhancing cybersecurity, we are planning to conduct an external network scan in collaboration with the Oregon State University’s ORTSOC [1] team during the week of January 27th. ORTSOC (Oregon State University’s Cybersecurity Operations Center) provides cybersecurity services under the guidance of experienced professionals, leveraging the skills of students to support under-served organizations.
The upcoming scan is designed to identify potential vulnerabilities and improve the security posture of our network systems. During this process, ORTSOC will perform network reconnaissance, which may include scans of external networks, and use open-source intelligence to identify specific targets. The scan will be conducted within established guidelines and will not intentionally disrupt services.
If you would prefer to be excluded from this scan, please let us know by January 24th. Your timely response will help us ensure that we respect your preferences and maintain the integrity of your systems. Should you have any questions or require further information, feel free to reach out to us.
