Import photos in plug in

Hello

I went to import geotag Jpeg photos from my DJI Matrice 4. When i select the folder all of my Jpegs are gray? Any ideas?

Can you post a screenshot of what you mean? I did this a while back and it worked. I used the “import geotagged photos” processing tool.

But I don’t think it is meant for displaying photos, it just creates a point file representing where the photos were taken.

I think you can set up an action to display the photos on clicking the point , but I have not done that.

I just noticed a new plugin in QGIS for 4.0 called hovergeoPhoto, https://github.com/martinbaldovi/hoverGeoPhoto , which is supposed to display photos associated with points when you hover over the point. It’s in the standard repository , and installed cleanly, but I have not tried it yet.
