Hi mate,
To make your attribute file, follow the following commands in INFO;
sel <filename.pat>
list
CALC $COMMA-SWITCH = -1
ITEMS
OUTPUT /path/filename.txt
DISPLAY $RECNO,<FILENAME#>,<FILENAME-ID>,ATTRIBUTE,ATTRIBUTE,ETC. PRINT
OUTPUT arcsnp
q stop
I hope this would help.
Greetings,
I am trying to import an existing polygon coverage from ArcInfo using
v.in.arc. I get the polygon and label points from the ArcInfo ungenerate
command but cannot get the label text file to identify the polygons (as
forest types).Anybody know how? The Grass on-line manual suggests the ArcInfo DISPLAY
command but gives no other information.Thanks
Thom Meredith
