Insertion and customization of Topics

Hello everyone,
I started working with GeoNetwork this year and I’m currently responsible for customizing our metadata catalog. I’ve been facing some challenges with the user experience (UI/UX), especially around configuring the homepage.

In particular, the homepage sections always render empty—no content appears under Topics, Latest news, Most popular, or Comments.

Could you point me to where these settings are configured in GeoNetwork? Is there any documentation or reference material you recommend?

I’ve attached an example of how I’d like the GeoNetwork homepage to look. At the moment, our homepage is essentially blank.

Those come from the UI settings, here:

I think each of those gets populated as the catalogue gets some use, e.g. if you have any comments on the metadata records then those should appear in the Comments section, once records get viewed you should get them appearing in the Most popular section and I think the Latest news shows newly updated records.
