OSGeo is focused on FLOSS GIS Spatial which deals with lots of data of a spatial nature. There are many projects under the OSGeo umbrella listed here: Projects Archive - OSGeo
There are other FLOSS GIS spatial software not under the OSGeo name and these are often used with OSGeo software e.g. GeoDjango and Leaflet come to mind.
