I’m Saurabh, a computer science undergraduate exploring GRASS GIS with the goal of contributing to the project.
I’ve recently set up GRASS locally using OSGeoLive and started running raster and vector modules to understand the workflow.
Before moving towards development work, I wanted to ask:
– Are there specific areas or modules where new contributors can be most helpful?
– Is it recommended to start with grass-addons, or are small fixes in the core repository also suitable?
I’m looking forward to learning and contributing responsibly.
