Folks,
At the request of Markus, and with support from John and Bitner I have
updated the configuration at irc.telascience.org to support a variety of
OSGeo related irc channels. It still doesn't work for me, apparently due to
some funky proxying issue at my end, but hopefully it will work for most
others. If you need to add more channels, edit the file:
/usr/local/apache2/htdocs/irc/cgiirc.config
and add new channels in the obvious place.
This machine (.212) is not using LDAP so I had to log in as root. If John
hasn't given you the root password then just ask him or I to make the
addition.
