You are very modest note mentioning your own involvement - can we not thank you for your efforts in coordinating this event and being the first group in the world to show off our new branding?
I would also ask that the photos for the event be marked with an open license (CC-BY-Attribution). Flickr lets you change these settings, and it is often a good chance to share with attendees that using an open license is something they can do as part of joining the OSGeo community
