Hello,

what do you think about working on some of the website tickets?

Maybe some can get closed already. And some are easy to fix.

For those who need programing there is still budget from 2018.

What do you think?

Hi! I’m also gonna be able to help as soon as the november crazy finishes (exams). If you want tell me what issues are best for me to tackle.

I’ve just added a couple of high value website issues, for things which appear to have been dropped:

We have (almost) lost our OSGeo Incubation pages https://github.com/OSGeo/osgeo/issues/205

Yes, some of should be simple to fix but I’m not able to find pages (like homepage to fix the foss4g url) , probably I have no enough permissions?

Please work on … you exams :slight_smile:

When I you return I would like to work on two wiki pages with you (and then get the board to approve):

  • A page on OSGeo sponsoring (we can ask potential events/activities to review our goals before asking, and then consider which committee they should ask)
  • A page on code sprints where we present the idea of “osgeo hosting” (which easier to understand then being a financial backstop etc…)

It may also be smart to provide examples of the kind of sponsorship that has been done, to set expectations really low. We work with people, and what little money we have goes towards supporting those people.
