[Marketing] [Live-demo] Getting OSGEO LiveDVD copies.

Bob,
The Marketing committee doesn't have budget to cover printing of OSGeo-Live DVDs for consumable items such as OSGeoLive DVDs.
You will need to cover the printing costs some other way.

All,

Do we just make them and look for OSGEO marketing reimbursement later or??

I have a couple of local places that can make them.

Thanks

Ok.

So, who does the banner and table cover stuff?

Same situation? Are there art files available somewhere?

Marketing does have a limited budget each year that we can use to help
kickstart Local Chapters specifically with banner and table covers, i.e.
non-consumables. If you want those, you'll need to get quotes from where
you plan to buy them from at tell us how much it will cost. We are
unlikely to spend more than $500 on any chapter, and of course prefer to
spend less when possible.

Thanks,
Alex

Alex,

Not looking to have everything paid for, but every little bit helps, we've got sponsors for the booth payment and some extra for things like the shirts and DVD's looks like it will be forthcoming, I'll know tomorrow for sure. Looks like the decision is to only make 100 DVD's (at most) at this point. I'll just have to tell them I told them so when we run out. :c)

This is sort of a dry run of things for the FOSS4G-NA next year as well. So no worries about coming up short on things as long as we have some to go around. I (we) should learn from this go around about how to apply to the FOSS4G-NA.

We can make paper banners and table covers if needed. Art files would be good to get this going though from this end. I can coble something together on my own, but it seems like something that should be somewhere already.

The art work is avaialable:
http://svn.osgeo.org/osgeo/marketing/exhibitionpack/

Popup3 more specifically.

I can't recall where we re-organized the links, but I think it's now
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0Al9zh8DjmU_RcHU5MDE0Z3lienJlWUtkVjgtV1FfU0E#gid=0
which is linked off of the Exhibition Pack page.

Note, we currently recommend a non-logo black tablecloth in conjunction
with the pop-banner to keep costs down.

Thanks,
Alex
