[Marketing] Looking for FOSS4G banner

Tyler,

Here's the homepages I've checked so far:
deegree - no
geonetwork - no
grass - yes
gvsig - no, osgeo banner is squashed funny so you can't read it
qgis - no
postgis - yes
ossim - yes

I've only looked at homepages, I have not dug into the sites to see if
they're on some other page. I'll be more than happy to check more sites
but think one email from the top on the subject to all the project
contacts at once is probably more efficient on that end.

Thanks,
Alex

And I've checked the rest. Thanks for starting on this Alex.
That's a lot of no's (~50%). I'll pull together an email list and some
suggestions about both using OSGeo logo and FOSS4G banner ad.

Tyler

Here's the summary:

deegree - no
geomajas - no
geoserver - no
mapbender - yes
mapbuilder - yes
mapfish - no
mapguide -yes
mapserver - yes
openlayers - no

grass - yes
ossim - yes
qgis - no
gvsig - no, osgeo banner is squashed funny so you can't read it

fdo - no, 2009 event
gdal/ogr - yes
geos - no
geotools - yes
metacrs - no
postgis - yes

geonetwork - no

FYI - I just spammed all the project contacts I have and mentioned both
the FOSS4G and OSGeo logo and links back to our URLs. Let's see how it
goes

I though that the official gvsig page was

http://www.gvsig.org

no FOSS4G logo there, neither OSGeo one

Hi, Pedro is right, the official page for the gvSIG project is
gvsig.org, the old gvsig.gva.es page will be retired soon.

I'll try manage to have OSGeo and FOSS4G banners on the front page

Cheers
