Hi all, It looks like the confusion over this motion has caused
that the osgeo.nl <http://osgeo.nl> exhibition pack funding was
never formally approved.

At the same time that motion triggered a lot of discussion and work
on the exhibition pack. And the Dutch chapter we understood that a
limited set of items would be sponsored. This has caused one of our
active members to order the materials and advance them out of her
own pocket, assuming / understanding the limited funding was fine
with the marketing committee members.

I would therefor like to ask the marketing committee to once again
vote on the funding of these items so that she can be refunded
soonest.

To add to this, I would also like to mention that both Just van
den Broecke and GeoCat have been sponsoring additional materials
for osgeo.nl <http://osgeo.nl> after the marketing committee made
clear it was not prepared to sponsor an initial amount of close to
1500 USD.

The items that were purchased for osgeo.nl <http://osgeo.nl>
include:

- Business cards - Banner - Table cloth - Furniture - T-shirts -
Live DVD's - Flyers

The total amount requested from OSGeo is 346,71 Euro.

Thanks in advance, Jeroen

I'm -1 as the motion stands as I don't believe OSGeo has

I'm +1 to provide an exhibition pack of: Table cloth: 1 x 40,00 =
40,00 euro Banner (incl. stand) (2x): 2 x 67,50 = 135,00 euro

I'm -0 on t-shirts until we audit the number of chapters wishing

If we do not get more + votes I will have to declare the motion
failed. I'll leave it open until the end of the week.

Thanks, Arnulf

Haha, that ? translates into Euro (the currency we use in some
European countries). The fun of encodings (currently from a
Thunderbird limping on a Mac. One would not expect anything to go
wrong, would one? The problem is probably sitting at the keyboard...)

And thanks again for patiently waiting until we get things done.
