[Marketing] Marketing Digest, Vol 99, Issue 10

Hi Guido,

I am not sure.....is what you call Meetup Lounge the same as the Recharge Lounge?

Taking into account the flow of people: you could do the Cesium And Book booths on 218 And 219.
And OSGeo and LocationTech where bookstore and Cesium were, still near the other community partners. Thus still creating a community-corner.

If no extra sponsors come in you have this way have the GIS Cloud booth on other side mirrored.

Kind regards,
Marc Vloemans

Hey folks,

I wanted to share the booth setup with you all so you can see where OSGeo
will be positioned.

Here is a link to the current floor plan:

The OSGeo booth is:

- near the lounge to meetup
- across from the community partners
- next to the book booth

I hope that this works for everyone.

That is great, I placed some background images (provided as drafts from the
designer) in github to help Helena make an html template. But if you are
good with your template skills you should be able to do a *much* better
job. Do you think if we make a PNG image with transparency you could layer
it overtop of a user supplied image?

For questions about the directory layout - we should have this conversation
on the marketing email list, if you do not mind joining me there? (Kind of
wish we could rebrand the marketing committee as "outreach committee" to
attract volunteers like yourself).

Aside:
- Had to look up what reveal.js is, I assume you mean this one -
http://lab.hakim.se/reveal-js/#/
- I usually use "landslide" (https://github.com/adamzap/landslide) and RST
for presentations because I use RST for documentation

Hi Guido,

I am not sure…is what you call Meetup Lounge the same as the Recharge Lounge?

Taking into account the flow of people: you could do the Cesium And Book booths on 218 And 219.
And OSGeo and LocationTech where bookstore and Cesium were, still near the other community partners. Thus still creating a community-corner.

If no extra sponsors come in you have this way have the GIS Cloud booth on other side mirrored.

Kind regards,
Marc Vloemans

Hey folks,

I wanted to share the booth setup with you all so you can see where OSGeo
will be positioned.

Here is a link to the current floor plan:

The OSGeo booth is:

  • near the lounge to meetup
  • across from the community partners
  • next to the book booth

I hope that this works for everyone.

That is great, I placed some background images (provided as drafts from the
designer) in github to help Helena make an html template. But if you are
good with your template skills you should be able to do a much better
job. Do you think if we make a PNG image with transparency you could layer
it overtop of a user supplied image?

For questions about the directory layout - we should have this conversation
on the marketing email list, if you do not mind joining me there? (Kind of
wish we could rebrand the marketing committee as “outreach committee” to
attract volunteers like yourself).

Hi Jody,

I’m working on template for OSGeo presentation in Reveal.js. which
directory layout you suggest? I’ve already forked the repository. I also
plan to create Beamer one.
