It came up in conversation with friends and then again was mentioned at
our AAG booth a couple of weeks ago. Would marketing like me to start a
facebook group for OSGeo to reach out to primarily college students.
Basically it would have links back to our homepage, our logo and allow
people on facebook to associate themselves with OSGeo.
I've already created "Flair" a button image that can be shared on
facebook using the logo and passed that around most of the booth
volunteers I work with.
We can toss it on the next meeting agenda if people want to discuss.
FYI - last meeting didn't have more than Alex and I at it. So we'll hope to catch up more next month.
