The next topic I wanted to catch up on is the upcoming OSCon 2017 Booth.
Guido has arranged an opportunity for us to have a booth at the event.
Sara, Thea, and some local volunteers (need to check email) have agreed to run the booth.
And here is the part where we need the marketing committee to commit…
Propose a budget of $400 USD to support volunteers at OSCon 2017 event (power, drape, handouts, stickers).
Looking to close this for Friday April 28th, require a 50% response for quorum. Remember you can vote +0 if you do not have time to read the wiki page above:

Please note that I send yesterday a parcel to TX with
* stickers - OSGeo, OSGeo-Cube, OSM
* OSGeo-Live postcards
* some foss4g stickers, foss4g-cards
* costs 37,80 Euro
I did not send flyer yet. And I did not update the flyer (Jodys version) yet. Still a todo. Thought Sara could better print them directly in TX instead of sending them from Germany

great. sounds good to print them at your place. So I will try to update the document soon, so you can print it in time.
@Guido - could you provide more FOSS4G material (I only send +-10 sticker/cards) - sure you should

I think that we should have them printed at a local fedex or staples

You are no doubt correct Cameron, I am cutting corners because I only had a limited lunch break to devote to following this up. Still if you are in position to respond to the motion it would be great.
I know we are doing things twice here (Guido made a motion last month to see if we should attend, but did not attach a budget to the request). I would feel more comfortable expensing our attendance to the marketing committee budget if we have a dollar amount.
I think power was $80 and I do not expect printing to be too expensive (now that stickers have been shipped), so I doubt we will use $400 USD.
My experience is that many (most) people use email filters for email lists, so if you are chasing people for a vote, it is best to try avoiding being filtered into an unread folder.
